If you have never been to the Isle of Man before – you are in for a treat. Why not stay on and have a holiday?
The Isle of Man has a glorious 100 mile coastline encompassing a richly varied unspoiled landscape. There are secret wooded glens cut by tumbling streams - opening the door to a vast open moorland purpled with heather, while endless beaches fringe a sea that a thousand years ago carried Viking raiders ashore. Among the central uplands of the Island the only true mountain, Snaefell rises to 2036 feet and can be ascended by electric railway. This Celtic Kingdom Festival is in association with Manx National Heritage . Go to www.storyofmann.com and read all about 13 award winning heritage sites; castles, museums and the great Laxey wheel. Enjoy days out on the Islands vintage railways ; by steam to the South and Castletown or take a horse drawn tram to join up with the restored Victorian electric railway in Douglas going North to Laxey and Ramsey. www.visitisleofman.com

The Island lends itself to silk painting – come and be inspired – join in the festivities – and stay awhile!
